Alan E. Gambrell

Alan Gambrell has 20+ years in the public health and human service sector, working mostly with federal agencies, national associations, and nonprofits. His work stretches from program analysis to publications development at all levels, from conceptualizing to writing/editing to layout. He has written technical assistance guides for nonprofits, developed federal grants programs, planned workshops and conferences, to name a few deliverables.

Alan's topic areas include HIV/AIDS, human services, asset development for low-income populations, state and local public health, minority health, organizational development, sexuality, and others. He managed several national health projects for national associations back in the 1980s and even walked the halls of Congress doing policy advocacy on comprehensive sexuality education.

Alan has a master's degree in public policy from the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas , and a BA in political science/minor in Economics, from the University of South Florida.
